US Business Development Director - HR Tech (Remote)

As the Business Development Director, you will:

  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within the enterprise sector and target markets.
  • Dive into both marketing-generated leads and actively cultivate your own pipeline.
  • Own the entire sales clycle from lead inception to close, including business development, ability to deliver persuasive sales pitches, and engage in product demos.
  • Skillfully navigate complex organizational structures as you lead discovery conversations, conduct product demos, and discuss tailored solutions.
  • Demonstrate a keen ability to understand clients' workforce planning and talent acquisition challenges, presenting innovative solutions through storytelling and consultative discussions.
  • Keep a meticulous record of all sales activities within Hubspot.
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's sales playbook, refining the customer journey, and contributing to our road map to take our team to new heights.
  • Consistently exceed sales activity and quota expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders and decision-makers to identify pain points and provide value to their organizations.
  • Go the extra mile to enhance our team and organization beyond your daily responsibilities.
  • Cultivate and sustain a robust network of industry influencers and partners to bolster our business development efforts.
  • Act as the voice of our largest customers, regularly sharing feedback with our internal teams, including product development, customer success, and marketing.

Your profile

  • Desired prior experience with an early stage organization.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of quota carrying, SaaS sales experience with a proven track record of surpassing sales targets.
  • Preferred experience in HR Tech, specifically within talent acquisition, workforce planning, or data-centric solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape and its key players.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • An entrepreneurial attitude and growth mindset.

Other details

  • This role is remote, but may require occasional travel for events and client meetings.
  • A valid US work permit is mandatory.
